Chris Burns

I’m Chris Burns, a motion designer/video producer living in the Washington D.C metro area. I’ve been telling stories through video for over 15 years and have had the good fortune to be involved in a wide variety of concentrations, from health and science to broadcast news, political advertising, and international relations.

Currently, I work at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center as an Earth Science Video Producer supporting the Landsat program. I take projects all the way from script to screen, researching, writing scripts, editing, animating, scoring and even narrating the finished piece myself. I enjoy constantly learning - honing my skills so that I am always ready to tackle a new challenge. Most of all, I love passing on what I’ve learned in the form of story telling, using my creativity to take complex topics and distill them down into engaging video content.
